Summary of Services:
Advisory Opinion:
If you believe you have an immigration challenge but are not sure, or if you believe
that you are proceeding
in the right direction but just need assurance, Mr. Hays can provide you with a formal
written legal
opinion containing an analysis of your situation. Immigration law is complex and
is inundated with legal
rules. Therefore, it makes sense to obtain a formal legal opinion as to your immigration
status.
Otherwise, the wrong decision could result in a denial of your case, or an
order of deportation from the
Immigration Judge.
Appeals:
If the Immigration Service denied your case Mr. Hays can represent you on appeal.
Mr. Hays
handles all Immigration case appeals including appeals before the Board of Immigration
Appeals,
The Administraive Appeals Office, and the United States Court of Appeals for the
Ninth circuit.
Status Inquiry:
Frequently, cases filed with the Immigration Service will remain unadjudicated for
an indefinate
amount of time. You, a family member, or a friend may have made an in-person visit to the
Immigration Service, and spent an entire day waiting in line only to be told
"your case is still being processed."
Mr. Hays
can perform an attorney inquiry into the status of your case, and if necessary lodge
the
appropriate documents with the Immigration Service to pressure them to complete
the processing of
your case. The attorney status inquiry is designed to make the Immigration Service
aware that you
have aggressive attorney representation and that the case should be processed within
the bounds of
the law. It it urged that you utilize the attorney inquiry offered by Mr.
Hays,
otherwise
your case could remain in the processing stage indefinately.
