of Alien Smuggling; and on a previous occasion at Airport Customs for traveling
with unusually large amount of money.
Person was represented in Immigration Court and was granted Lawful Permanent Residency

Deportation for NACARA derivative:
Adult Client in deportation proceedings who the Department of Homeland Security
claimed to have made a false claim to U.S. Citizenship. Through vigorous deportation
defense, Client had case terminated and was granted lawful permanent residence under NACARA.
U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit:
Persons ordered deported from the United States and issued "bag and baggage letters".
Person petitioned
for review of decision to the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit.
Person submitted Opening Brief. During pendency of briefing, and through the Court
of Appeals Mediation program, United States Attorney's Office agreed that case should be remanded to Immigration Judge for proceedings on lawful permanent residence through
cancellation of removal.
